Superman: Only the Clark Kent stuffReading this series now reminds me of an episode of impractical jokers where the guys pitched tv shows to strangers that they wrote for each other. The point was to write a terrible idea for your opponent that they had to pitch so the strangers would not vote to watch it if it was put on air. One such pitch was Superman: Only the Clark Kent stuff. I feel like we are there and beyond with sienna. How much of this plucky girl who can stuff will we continue to get? The best parts of sienna was her war with her voices and her powers. I get she needed a humbling. Rose took care of that. Now it’s just book after book of her getting her butt kicked by some new meta only to pluckily and luckily come on out top. Can she not gain one other power somehow? One other voice in her head? Her friends and family got infinitely more powerful but she must continue to struggle as the lesser of them. Please give her something back. It grows more frustrating by the book.
