Johnny Wander, Vol. 1: Don't Burn the House Down

One of our teen volunteers was the first to recommend the Johnny Wander webcomic to me. I was looking for good webcomics at the time and kept up with it, as well as others I found at the time, ever since. It emerged as one of my favorites. Ananth and Yuko feel like friends of mine. They're cat people (I'm a dog person), they live on the east coast (I live on the west coast), they live with roommates (I live alone). But they feel like we could be friends. The tone of this comic is warm, light, cuddly, hopeful, funny, and cute. There's a quirk to these one page, rather unconnected moments. There's no particular narrative arch, but we do follow Ananth and Yuko through multiple living situations and small adventures.A lovely addition to the autobio ilk.
